Top Ten Spots for Breakfast in Savannah, GA

An array of diverse foods and colorful drinks on a wooden table.

Since our food tours focus on the best lunch, dinner, and dessert spots in town, we don’t always get to talk about breakfast during our walks—which is a total shame because we are self-proclaimed breakfast and coffee fanatics!

Whether you just moved to the Hostess City or you’re just visiting for the weekend, you need a solid game plan for the most important meal of the day. We’ve updated our list to include a mix of new favorites, historic staples, and local hangouts so you can find the perfect vibe for your morning.

Here are our top 10 places to grab breakfast in Savannah:

1. The Collins Quarter

This is the spot that really kicked off the “cool breakfast” scene in Savannah. It’s got a heavy Australian influence—which is why you’ll see breakfast called “Breakkie” on the menu. You actually have two choices here: the original, bustling location on the corner of Bull and Oglethorpe (great for people-watching and celebrity spotting) and their stunning second location tucked right inside Forsyth Park.

  • The Vibe: Creative, high-energy, and gorgeous.
  • What to Order: You can’t go wrong with the Moroccan Scramble or the Swine Time Benedict. Their coffee program is top-tier, too!
  • Locations: 151 Bull St / 700 Drayton St (in Forsyth Park!)

2. Mirabelle Savannah

If you want a “postcard moment” with your morning coffee, head straight to Mirabelle. It is located directly across from the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, and the views from their sidewalk seating are unmatched. They specialize in authentic Liège waffles made with pearl sugar that caramelizes when cooked.

  • The Vibe: Chic, Parisian-style cafe.
  • What to Order: Any of their waffles (the Lemon & Blueberry is a personal favorite).
  • Location: 313 Abercorn St

3. Quinn’s Breakfast and Lunch

Quinn’s is a fantastic, friendly spot for a classic morning meal. It’s a local favorite for when you want a hearty, no-fuss start to your day. If Quinn’s is packed, or if you’re looking for something a bit closer to the famous Jones Street for a post-breakfast stroll, Clary’s Cafe is right around the corner—it’s the legendary “dive” made famous by Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

  • The Vibe: Neighborhood staple with a warm welcome.
  • What to Order: The classic breakfast platter or their fluffy pancakes.
  • Location: 28 Drayton St (with Clary’s nearby at 404 Abercorn Street)

4. Savannah Coffee Roasters

For the true caffeine addicts, this is your mecca. They roast their beans right there in-house on Liberty Street, so the smell when you walk in is absolutely heavenly. They have a massive space, making it a great spot to catch up on emails or chat with friends.

  • The Vibe: Industrial-cool coffee house with plenty of room.
  • What to Order: Grab a fresh pour-over and browse their massive pastry case—their croissants and seasonal scones are legendary.
  • Location: 215 W. Liberty Street

5. Little Duck Diner

This is a retro-glam diner that feels like a step back in time but with a modern, clean twist. It’s perfectly located and very walkable to City Market and the Broughton Street shopping district. It’s bright, airy, and the service is always quick and friendly.
