Rain or shine, we dine. However, we advise you to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately. On rare occasions, we will contact you in the event of anticipated severe weather.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of Savannah’s unique cuisine and the distinctive culinary dishes highlighted on our tours, we are unable to provide gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan alternative tastings on our tours. We CAN, however, provide accommodations for seafood allergies, nut allergies, pescatarian, and vegetarian options at most locations. Additionally, because our tours have such a limited size we cannot offer a reduced ticket price due to dietary restrictions. Thank you for your understanding. We can’t wait to show you a deliciously fun time in Savannah.

No. We do not finish at the exact location as the meeting point. However, detailed instructions are provided after ticket purchase with starting and ending point locations, and all participants receive a map with return directions included at the beginning of the tour. Return trips are simple and can be accomplished by walking, taking a taxi, or taking a trolly or a CAT bus.

No. Unfortunately, cash is not accepted. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our ticketing company or by calling 912-221-4439.

Yes. Tickets must be purchased in advance as Savannah Taste Experience tours typically sell out quickly ahead of time. To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

We highly recommend taking our food tours at the beginning of your visit so that you may enjoy returning to your favorite food tasting locations and redeem your Store Coupons that we will be providing during the tour. Since tours usually sell out well in advance, there is not a better day of the week versus another.

Yes, there are several public parking garages located near the meeting point. Specific parking information will be given after purchasing your tickets. For stress free parking at the airport visit parkfellows.com.

No. Unfortunately, there is no waiting list. However, if a date and time is sold out, there is always a good chance that we will add an additional tour on that day.

No. Currently, we do not participate in wine tastings.

While we do not provide alcohol as part of the tour, alcoholic drinks can be purchased separately at participating restaurants. Savannah allows open containers in the historical district and we invite guests to take advantage!! Most of the stops provide water.

Most guests of Savannah Taste Experience find that the tastings are enough for lunch. While portion sizes are smaller than that which you might purchase at any of these locations on your own, but there are at least six different tastings, which our guests find themselves comfortable and satiated by tour’s end. Please understand our food tours are not intended to replace multiple meals, so please consider eating breakfast before the tour.

Tours last approximately 3 hours and participants can expect to be standing or walking for a majority of the time. We walk at a moderate pace to cover the almost 1.5 miles. We do provide at least two resting locations for at least 45 minutes total.

No. If your young child will not be participating in the tastings, you do not need to purchase a ticket for them. However, please do let us know if you will be attending with an infant or young child when you purchase tickets in the Notes section.

Yes. Savannah Taste Experience will assist in directing any guests using wheelchairs or strollers to optimize safety and enjoyment of the tour. If you have any specific concerns or questions, we invite you to contact us to discuss further.

Yes, Savannah Taste Experience Gift Certificates are available! Simply visit our Gift Certificates page and purchase a Gift Certificate to cover as many tickets you’d like. Once you’ve purchased a gift certificate, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail with your gift certificate code. Simply use this code when booking your tour date!

Yes. Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%.

Yes. Bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.

No. As with many other tours, you’ll have to wait until the end to check out the “gift shop.” The tour needs to stay on a tight schedule so we arrive at each tasting location when the food is at its optimum freshness (e.g., when hot dishes are hot and cold dishes are cold). To maximize the enjoyment of the tour, we ask you to allow time at the end of the tour to return to your favorite locations. Savannah Taste Experience will provide guests with a map of all of the tasting locations, exclusive coupons to some of our locations and info about other great places to check out.

Yes. To set up or learn more, please visit our Private Group Tours page and click the “Sign Up” button to complete a short form. A Savannah Taste Experience Representative will contact you shortly thereafter with payment and further instructions.

No. We only offer tours in English at this time. Please email us if you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour.

Yes. Most of the stops on our tours offer alternative tasting options for vegetarians.
