Important Information
Please read the following information carefully before completing the Private Group Tour Request form:
Savannah Taste Experience and the private group tour organizer will agree on all logistical information prior to your tour date. There is a lot of planning that goes into a tour, and a lot of different people, stores, and restaurants that have to be coordinated with so that fresh, tasty food will be ready at the right time to optimize everyone’s enjoyment. As a result, Savannah Taste Experience may not be able to accommodate last-minute changes or adjustments to the agreed upon schedule.
All private group food tours are a predetermined length cannot be shortened. Groups larger than 12 people will be split into smaller groups and staggered 30 minutes apart in order to optimize the experience of the guests and ensure that food orders are well controlled. Weekdays offer more flexibility in scheduling than the weekend. Private group tours are held rain or shine.
Private group tours are the exact same experiences as the public tours only in a private setting. Why? Because we know the food tour we provide to the public is nothing short of fantastic, and because after all of the tinkering around with flavors, portion sizes, and locations, we know we provide the best experience if we do it our way.
Within reason, Savannah Taste Experience will try to accommodate dietary restrictions wherever and whenever possible.
Prices & Payment
Private group tours are sold per tour rather than per head. A private group tour on the First Squares route is $935.20, the Famous and Secret Eastside route is also $935.20 for up to 12 guests. A private group tour on the Southern Fried Expectations tour is $762.48. Gratuity is included in this cost. Private group tours are fully refundable up to a month away from the tour date. A 50% refund is given for tours cancelled up to two weeks away from the tour date. Tours cancelled within two weeks of the event are non-refundable.
Private group tours require payment to hold a specific date, tour route, and time.
