Savannah Taste Experience’s New Website, Home & Away Magazine Feature, and 500+ TripAdvisor Reviews

The No. 1 food tour in Savannah hits new milestones in its third year of business.

SAVANNAH, August 13, 2015—Owning a small business can be quite a rollercoaster, but for Savannah Taste Experience, owners Stu and Donald Card are experiencing lots of positive momentum as they pass their business’ third anniversary.

“We started this business in April 2012 with big hopes and dreams,” says Stu Card. “The support we’ve received from our partner businesses, locals, Visit Savannah, and visitors has been tremendous, and we can’t wait to see what the next three years bring.”

Hitting 500 reviews on TripAdvisor recently was a big thrill, especially considering that all of these equate to maintaining a 5-star average. Reviews for tourism-related businesses are crucial for continued growth, and the brothers couldn’t be more thankful to reach this milestone.

“Now it’s up to us to keep delivering a great experience for our guests so we can hit our next target: 1,000 positive reviews!” Card says.

This milestone coincides with their reason to launch a new website, too. “Our goal is to provide top-notch customer service experience before, during, and after our food tours,” Card explains, “and that means delivering an easy-to-use, informative website that makes booking a cinch.” Now, guests can easily see how many tickets are remaining for each tour and snag them before their preferred date sells out. They’ve also added lots of high resolution tour photos and updated information.

The brothers were also thrilled to be featured in Home & Away Magazine in its recent “Savor Savannah” piece, which described the tour this way: “The city’s culinary past and present come together on food-themed walking tours operated by Savannah Taste Experience. At each place, they dig into a helping, even a glass, of Savannah’s craveable cuisine. Along the way, local experts enrich the experience with interesting facts and stories…” The article also highlights some of Savannah Taste Experience’s partner stops, including 17Hundred90, The Pirate’s House, and Savannah Bee Co.

“Having travel writers mention our company is a big honor. We can’t wait to welcome more Home & Away Magazine readers on our upcoming tours!”

Tours our now offered 7 days a week, with several available time slots on most days.

About Savannah Taste Experience

Brothers Stu and Donald Card both left successful careers to open Savannah Taste Experience, and they felt there was no better place to enjoy food, friends and family than Savannah, Georgia. They designed their First Squares Food Tour and Famous & Secret East Side Food Tour to show off Savannah’s best features—excellent food, beautiful architecture, storied history, and year-round warm climate. Each tour was designed to allow travelers to experience more restaurants in three hours than they could on their own in an entire weekend. Both food tours show off not only some of Savannah’s Southern cuisine but also an international mix of influences that help make Savannah a worthy culinary destination. For more information, visit their website at www.savannahtasteexperience.com and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram for discounts and updates. Guests are also encouraged to use #SavannahTaste to share their experience on any of these social sites.
