You are cordially invited to help us celebrate Burns Night in Savannah! Burns Night is an annual Scottish tradition that celebrates Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, by serving his favorite Scottish dishes, reciting his poetry and toasting his legacy with Scotch whisky–the “water of life.” This event dates back to 1801 when the first Burns supper was held by his friends in memoriam on the fifth anniversary of his death. We’re proud to recreate this tradition in The Hostess City with an all inclusive dining experience and hope that you will join in all of the festivities.
Burns Night Savannah will be an exclusive, one-of-a-kind evening consuming the finest of all “puddings”–haggis made from scratch (along with other delicious Scottish goodies) by Smith Brothers Butcher Shop’s Executive Chef James Levens. Fine Scotch whisky tastings will be presented by Molly MacPherson’s Scottish Pub, and there will also be fun poetry readings in Scottish accents, bagpipes blaring and skirted men as we celebrate Scotland’s famous national poet, Robert “Rabbie” Burns. We’ll also take the time to enlighten you on Savannah’s strong Scottish heritage. This is an evening you will be talking about all year. There are a very limited number of tickets available, so don’t miss out!
